Valencia CF visited Real Betis Balompié in a midweek fixture on Wednesday, October 27th at the Benito Villamarín stadium at 8 pm kick-off time (CET) on Matchday 11 of LaLiga Santander.
Valencia CF had a slow start to the game trying to withstand the opposition’s high press in the early goings of the game. Alas, minutes later, the referee awarded the opposition a spot-kick which was converted by Borja Iglesias over the 12-minute mark.

Aforementioned Borja Iglesias made 2-0 to Real Betis Balompié just under the half-hour mark in Seville.
Valencia CF enjoyed two corner kicks in quick succession and Gabriel Paulista showed his aliveness in the 6-yard box to bundle the ball home off his shoulder and past Claudio Bravo to get off the mark for Valencia CF.
Valencia CF were forced into a late substitution through injury as Mouctar Diakhaby replaced Gabriel Paulista after a lengthy stoppage time of eight minutes added on.
The first half finished 1-2 to Real Betis with all to play for in the second half.
Valencia CF came out in the second half looking to score the equaliser and they almost did right after the restart though Gonçalo Guedes as he got in behind his marker but the effort rolled.
Germán Pezzella made 3-1 to Real Betis over the hour mark following a corner kick delivery. Juanmi made it 4-1 just minutes later from the opposition’s third goal.
José Bordalás made a double change bringing on Racic and Manu Vallejo for Gonçalo Guedes and Daniel Wass Valencia CF kept on pushing looking to reduce the scoreline alas, the scoreline remained unchanged and Valencia CF fell to a 4-1 loss away from home.
